The last band of very cold air will move quickly across the mainland from the NW to the SE today taking 3-5cms of snowfall with it. By tonight it will probably have cleared the mainland.

Winds W moderate but with stronger gusts in the Ebro Valley, NE of Girona and the Alboran coast.

More snow inland on Saturday. There will be warmer, even Spring-like temperatures from Sunday, but these will be accompanied by more rain. Rain will be heaviest in Galicia and the south of Andalucía. Next week will continue mild but damp with higher temperatures than normal for the time of the year.
