    In a small bar with a number of locals sitting around, I once caused a snigger amongst them when I attempted to order a ham sandwich. I plucked up the courage to ask, in Spanish, and ordered a bocadillo y gabon. Fortunately the barman's english was better than my spanish and offered me a bocadillo y gamon, in place of my request for a SOAP sandwich!
