Exterminators were called in to rid the building of the pests
The Traffic Authority’s provincial headquarters for Córdoba was closed this Thursday for the second day running after a plague of rats and cockroaches affected the building. There were also centipedes amongst the uninvited guests, leading the 70-strong workforce to refuse to work on Wednesday.
Exterminators were called in on Wednesday, but the offices were closed again on Thursday after staff suffered irritated eyes, headaches and other problems on arriving for work. The health and safety representative, Francisco Guerrero, told EFE it was due to the products used to address the problem.
