Well are you an iphone lover, Samsung, HTC, Blackberry or other?
I notice that Nokia have had a lot of adverts on TV tonight for their new phone the N8. Now I have to admit to having an iphone - which is relegated to a spare PAYG phone, an HTC Desire - which is great and has a lot of things but the apps aren't as good as the iphone and the touch screen is not quite as good. Prior to that I had tried a Samsung after years of being a Nokia owner.
Now the Nokia phones I always loved but in latter years they have struggled to keep up with the latest technology and hence my leaving them and trying others.
Samsung Omnia I found to be fiddly to use the touchscreen and soon gave that one up. The iphone I loved the responsive screen but found that the signal strength was very poor and I was always ending up with 'no signal'. Therefore I gave the HTC a try. Now HTC have good signal strength, poor battery life, an ok selection of apps on the Android platform, but the touchscreen is not so positive as the iphone and typing messages you always have to be so careful or you end up hitting the wrong keys!
I saw the emergence of Nokia's newest phone and was tempted to go back to them when my phone is up for renewal, however, the reviews on this phone have not been good! They are still using the Symbian platform and are way behind with all the facilities the other phones have to offer. From what reviews I've read it would seem that the only thing that this phone is good for is the camera - which is excellent.
Come on Nokia - get your act together and join the 21st century
