Here is our quickest route to Barcelona Port from Calais - it is far easier than it looks :D
From Eurotunnel exit at Calais:
- Head east on A16 toward Exit 43
Take A26/E15 toward
Take A3/E15 toward
Take A3/E15 toward
Take exit onto Boulevard Peripherique
Take exit toward A6b/A10/Bordeaux/Nantes/Lyon/Evry
Merge onto L’Autoroute du Soleil
Continue onto L’Aquitaine
Take exit onto A10/.E05/E50 toward Orelans/Nantes/Bordeaux/Palaiseau
Take exit toward Orleans/Nantes/Bordeaux/Chatres/Orsay
Take exit onto A71/E09 toward A20/Toulouse/Clermont-Ferrand/Vierzon/Orleans-Centre
Continue onto A75/E11 (signs for Montpellier/Aurillac/Le Puy)
Take exit 60 toward A9/Nezignan-l’Eveque/Vias/Agde
Merge onto D13
At roundabout take 1st exit onto A9/E15/E80 to Beziers
Continue on A9/E15/E80
Continue onto AP-7
Continue onto E15/AP-7 signs to Barcelona
Continue onto Autopista Barcelona-Montmelo/C-22 (signs for Barcelona)
Take exit toward Barcelona Rondes/Ap-2/AP-7/C-32/C-31/N-II
Merge onto Autopista del Valles
Continue onto Ronda del Litoral/B-10 (signs for Ronda Litoral/Sant Andreau/C-31/Badalona/B-20/C-32/N-ll/Mataro
Take exit 20
At roundabout take 2nd exit
Basically you are just travelling in the direction of:
- Paris
Orleans
Bourges
Clermont Ferrand
Beziers
Perpignan
Barcelona
This journey takes in total just under 12 hours driving time so don't forget to add any break times that you must have. The French roads are a dream to drive through and the scenery is spectacular.
