18 months or 567 days to go

Well hubby retires in 18 months time. I am not due to retire for another 7 years but I intend to spend the next 18 months developing my online businesses.

I have given myself a deadline that when Mick is due to retire we will be living in Spain. I will not wait any longer.

Only today I was talking to a couple of people who have missed their opportunity to do what they wanted to do. One always intended to move abroad when the time came for them to retire - in her case her husband died before she retired and now she does not have the courage to move on her own and feels that she is stuck here.

The second person was telling me about a friend, only 52 years of age, who died suddenly.

It brings home the reality that you really shouldn't wait until the 'time is right' for by that time it may be too late.

I know that if given the chance & opportunity I would be off tomorrow to buy my place in Spain for Spain is where I am happiest.

So watch this space - for now the deadline is 18 months, but should I come up with a solution between then and now I will be off. Oh and I will tell you how I did it.
