We have got into the habit now of flicking the TV onto TVE Internacional from the time we get in at night until about 9 pm.

During that time we normally get to see Gente and the news. Now even if I'm doing something else and it is only on in the background it is amazing how the words you know literally jump out at you!

Of course I don't understand all that is said but it is quite helpful that they very often have subtitles so I can check the words I don't know in the dictionary. In my case my dictionary is a Collins Spanish Dictionary that I have installed on my phone so it is always to hand.

So for free Spanish lessons get yourself set up on a Spanish satellite and listen to normal every day speech.

Love it!
