The UK has now entered the most important and active month for holiday bookings. After the Christmas period has ended people rush to book their summer holidays.
The most popular summer destination this year indicates that Turkey and the Balearics are topping the list.
No doubt the interest in summer holidays has been fuelled by the bad weather recently in the UK but people are also taking advantage of early booking deals.
All-inclusive packages are proving to be very popular.
Despite the tough economic situation people are averaging two holidays each year and the amount of people booking three or more is rising.
Turkey did put its prices up last year by an average of £94 so again this year Spain is proving a more attractive destination.
