Subject: Lunar Eclipse Fri Jun 17, 2011 10:32 pm
We were lucky enough to see the lunar eclipse last night and it was both brilliant and fascinating. The moon was rising above the horizon and was a ball of red fire. As it rose into the sky it gradually changed to gold and then silver. We took a photo but our little old camera was not really good enough to produce a decent picture. Anyway here it is:
Absolutely brilliant.
Oh and by the way it is 29 degrees here in Mallorca and rising! Phew that is warm.
