Centro Sanitario Municipal de Protección Animal

Facebook is a way I keep in touch with all my family and friends but at times it definitely tugs at my heart strings.

I frequently see photos from Centro Sanitario Municipal de Protección Animal who my friend in Mallorca supports. The Centre takes in abandoned and stray animals and also cares for wildlife that is injured.

Of course they are restricted to the amount of animals they can keep at any one time and it breaks my heart to think that these poor little souls will be euthanized if homes aren't found for them.

Looking at the fees and knowing how much it costs in England I feel the 33 Euros they charge to vaccinate, microchip and a tiny admin cost is well worth paying to give a loving home to an animal that has only had the misfortune of being born in the wrong place at the wrong time or going to owners who no longer want them after the initial few weeks.

I know for sure that if I was living in Mallorca now instead of having to wait then I would be dashing along to offer a home to these.
