Arrived in Spain

Well here we are again then. Back in our favourite place in Spain. Alcudia, Mallorca. Back amongst our friends and feeling like we've come home again.

At the moment it is fairly quiet here. The journey en route was excellent with no problems at all driving down through France and even Barcelona was a little on the quiet side, although we did arrive early and I guess being a Friday night everyone was at home getting ready to go out.

The weather is excellent - about 27 degrees - with clear blue skies although they are threatening a risk of perhaps an odd shower or two. But I don't mind. After the grey skies of England just lately it is just so lovely to see the sun.

Last night was spent catching up on the news with our friends after a year away from them and getting back into the chilled out way of life here.

Every year since 1987 we have returned and I never tire of the place. In fact it gets worse as the years go by - our feeling of this being our home, not the place!
